KEVIN HEFFERNAN
Back before I had hair on my body, I started doing comedy with the other Broken Lizard fellas at Colgate University. We relocated to NYC and when we realized we couldn't make college jokes anymore, we started making films. Our first was Puddle Cruiser. And we were hooked. We followed with some (self proclaimed) cult favorites Super Troopers, Club Dread & Beerfest. The other Lizards were generous enough to let me make my directorial debut on our most recent film, The Slammin’ Salmon.
In addition to the BL films, I've shown my face in a few others: The Dukes of Hazzard, Sky High, Strange Wilderness & The Babymakers. And some TV shows: Curb Your Enthusiasm, How I Met Your Mother, VEEP, Workaholics & Marvel's Agent Carter.
If you want to see me tackle some other comic genres, I have a stand up concert film available on Netflix called Fat Man Little Boy and a podcast I do with Steve Lemme which airs weekly on the Nerdist Network called Chewin' It with Kevin & Steve.
As I write this, I'm currently shooting a new TV Pilot for TBS called Quality Time. If the TV Gods play along, you'll see it later this year.
